CompositionRABICER Tablet is used to treat severe heartburn, acid reflux (GERD) and stomach ulcers. It contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, and is also used to prevent ulcers in people taking medicines that can irritate the stomach.
Rabeprazole works by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining, cutting down the amount of acid the stomach produces, which relieves symptoms and allows the stomach and food pipe lining to heal.
Take this tablet as prescribed, generally before a meal, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue for the duration advised even if your symptoms improve early.
Long-term use can affect magnesium levels, so tell your doctor if you notice unusual tiredness, muscle cramps or an irregular heartbeat. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, and seek medical advice if you experience unexplained weight loss or difficulty swallowing alongside your symptoms.
