Predone Syrup 60ml

Predone Syrup 60ml is used for managing the following conditions:

• Rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis
• Systemic lupus erythematosus and vasculitis
• Skin disorders such as pemphigus, severe erythema multiforme, and exfoliative dermatitis
• Allergic conditions like bronchial asthma and medication hypersensitivity reactions
• Eye disorders, including allergic conjunctivitis, optic neuritis, and anterior uveitis
• Respiratory diseases such as sarcoidosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations
• Gastrointestinal diseases like ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease
• Blood disorders, including acquired hemolytic anaemia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura
• Palliative management of leukaemias and lymphomas

You should take Predone Syrup 60ml in the following way: 

• Use the provided cup to measure your dose accurately.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Always keep the bottle tightly capped after each use.
• Note that this medicine contains sugar, so if you have diabetes, consult your doctor before use.

Predone Syrup 60ml is taken orally.

Predone Syrup 60ml contains Prednisolone, which works on your body as follows:

• Glucocorticoid receptor agonist: Binds to receptors inside cells, altering gene transcription to produce anti-inflammatory proteins.
• Anti-inflammatory effect: Enhances production of proteins that suppress inflammation and inhibits those that promote it.
• Mediator inhibition: Reduces inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
• Capillary permeability: Decreases capillary permeability to reduce fluid leakage and swelling.
• Immune response: Suppresses immune cell function to manage autoimmune conditions.

• Store Predone Syrup 60ml at room temperature.
• Keep it in a dry place, shielded from light and moisture.
