Prazocin Xl 2.5 MG Tablet 15 contains prazosin (2.5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Alpha-adrenergic receptor blockade: Prazosin blocks certain receptors called alpha-1 adrenergic receptors found in blood vessels and the prostate gland. This blocking action prevents the hormone noradrenaline from tightening these tissues.
