PRAXOFORD 1 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of Parkinson's disease

• Managing movement problems in Parkinson's disease

• Controlling tremors and muscle stiffness

• Reducing excessive shaking in the body

• Slowing down abnormal body movements

• Managing restless legs syndrome

• Relieving the uncontrollable urge to move the legs

• Reducing unpleasant leg sensations

• Decreasing the frequency of leg discomfort

• Improving sleep disrupted by leg movements

Follow these instructions while taking PRAXOFORD 1 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

PRAXOFORD 1 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

PRAXOFORD 1 TABLET 10 contains pramipexole (1 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Dopamine Receptor Stimulation: Pramipexole mimics the action of dopamine, an important chemical messenger in the brain that helps control movement and coordination.

• Brain Signal Improvement: By activating dopamine receptors, particularly in areas of the brain affected by Parkinson's disease, it helps improve the transmission of signals that control movement.

• Include foods rich in antioxidants (like berries, nuts, and green vegetables) in your diet, as they may help protect brain cells from further damage.

• Avoid caffeine in the evening, as it can worsen symptoms and interfere with your sleep when you have this condition.
