Povirest Oz Ointment 15 GM includes two active ingredients:

• Ornidazole (1%): Ornidazole is a nitroimidazole antibiotic that works by damaging the DNA of certain bacteria and parasites that are susceptible to it. This damage inhibits their growth and reproduction, helping to manage anaerobic bacterial and protozoan skin infections.

• Povidone Iodine (5%): This ingredient acts as a broad-spectrum antiseptic that slowly releases iodine. The released iodine leads to the oxidation and destruction of proteins in microorganisms, causing their death. Its bactericidal activity extends to gram-positive, gram-negative, and some spore-forming bacteria. It also has fungicidal, virucidal, and protozoacidal properties, which help reduce bacteria on the skin surface.

• Store Povirest Oz Ointment 15 GM at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep this medicine in a dry place and protect it from direct sunlight.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed after each use.
