CompositionPin 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and certain sexually transmitted and digestive infections in adults.
It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Take it as prescribed, with plenty of water. Complete the full course even if you start to feel better, as stopping early can allow the infection to return.
Avoid excessive sunlight and use sun protection, such as sunscreen and covered clothing, as fluoroquinolones can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is also recommended.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any history of epilepsy, tendon problems, kidney problems, or an irregular heart rhythm, and mention any other medicines you take. Report any tendon pain or swelling, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or a severe skin reaction to your doctor promptly.
