CompositionPANVI DSR 30/40mg Tablet is used to manage gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which often causes discomfort such as heartburn, chest pain and nausea. It combines a proton pump inhibitor with domperidone, a prokinetic medicine.
The proton pump inhibitor component reduces the amount of acid the stomach produces, while domperidone speeds up the movement of food through the stomach, together reducing the backflow of stomach acid into the food pipe and easing associated symptoms.
Take this tablet before a meal, generally in the morning, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue for the duration advised.
Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem, as domperidone needs caution in this situation. Long-term use of the proton pump inhibitor component can affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels, so tell your doctor if you notice unusual tiredness or muscle cramps.
