Oxylin 0.25 MG Eye Drops 5 ML

Oxylin 0.25 MG Eye Drops 5 ML is used to:

• Provide temporary relief from eye redness
• Reduce redness caused by allergies or irritants
• Improve the appearance of bloodshot eyes
• Relieve mild eye irritation

Follow these instructions while using Oxylin 0.25 MG Eye Drops 5 ML:

• Wash your hands before and after use.
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
• Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye.
• Close the eye gently for about 30 seconds after instillation.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.
• Do not share the bottle with others.
• Remove contact lenses before using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reusing them.

Oxylin 0.25 MG Eye Drops 5 ML is for topical ophthalmic use only. 

Oxylin 0.25 MG Eye Drops 5 ML contains the following active component:

• Oxymetazoline (0.25 mg): Oxymetazoline is an alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist that causes constriction of small blood vessels in the conjunctiva. This reduces blood flow to the eye surface and decreases redness. The effect is temporary and helps improve the appearance of irritated or bloodshot eyes.

• Store below 30°C.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Protect from direct sunlight. Avoid contamination of the dropper tip.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date.

• Avoid rubbing your eyes, as this may worsen irritation and increase redness.
• Limit exposure to dust, smoke, and other environmental irritants that may trigger eye redness.
• Maintain good eye hygiene by washing your hands before touching your eyes or applying eye drops.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses during eye irritation unless advised by your doctor.
