CompositionOMEN ACT Tablet 10 is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when two medicines alone are not enough, combining three medicines that lower blood pressure through different mechanisms.
It combines olmesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes the blood vessels; amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker; and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that removes excess fluid. Take it as prescribed, and keep taking it even when you feel well.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, gout or diabetes before starting, and about other medicines you take. Avoid in pregnancy. Report marked ankle swelling, muscle cramps or dizziness on standing.
