Ofloxacin (200 Mg)

Oflo 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and certain sexually transmitted and gut infections in adults. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, which works by stopping bacteria copying their DNA, so they cannot multiply.

This tablet is used to treat a range of bacterial infections. Take it as prescribed with plenty of water, and complete the full course.

Avoiding excessive sunlight and using sun protection can help support treatment alongside this medicine.

Tell your doctor about any epilepsy, tendon problems, kidney problems or heart-rhythm problems before use. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Oflo 200mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections in adults, clearing infection and easing associated symptoms and discomfort fully.

Uses of Oflo 200mg Tablet are:

Respiratory Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the lungs and throat.
Urinary Tract Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the urinary system.
Skin and Other Infections: Treats skin, certain sexually transmitted and gut infections.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
You can take this medicine with or without food.
Taking the tablet at evenly spaced intervals, preferably at the same times each day is important.
Even if your symptoms improve, ensure you complete the full course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Failing to do so may lead to a relapse of the infection or the development of bacterial resistance.
