Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10

Ntzoxide 500 Tablet is used in the treatment of parasitic infections of the digestive tract in adults and children to relieve bowel discomfort and restore normal gut health.

Uses of Ntzoxide 500 Tablet are:

• Parasitic Diarrhoea: Helps treat watery diarrhoea caused by Giardia lamblia or Cryptosporidium parvum infections.
• Intestinal Infections: Assists in clearing parasitic gastrointestinal infections including giardiasis and amoebiasis.

• Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10 should be taken only through a doctor's prescription. 
• Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Do not chew or break the tablet.
• This medication should be taken with food. 
• It should be taken as advised by the doctor.

Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10s are administered orally.

• Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10 includes nitazoxanide as the active ingredient. 
• Nitazoxanide belongs to the class of antiprotozoal drugs. 
• Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10 is a broad spectrum anti-infective drug. 
• This drug interferes with growth and development of parasites. In doing so, this medication kills the parasite.

• This medicine should be stored at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Store it in a cool and dry place away from moisture. 
• Keep the medicine away from children. 
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.

• Have a balanced and healthy diet.
• Get enough sleep so that your body gets sufficient rest and relief from pain. 
• Eat easy to digest food to help with diarrhoea. 
• Drink enough water and increase fluid intake to make up for loss of electrolytes in the body.  
• Take enough green vegetables and fruits in your diet. 
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.

• Avoid Ntzoxide 500 Tablet 10 in case of known allergies to Nitazoxanide.   
• Take this medicine with food. 
• Consult your doctor in case you have developed severe side effects from medication.
