Nifedipine (30 Mg)

Nfd Retard 30 Tablet 10 is used in adults to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent certain types of chest pain (angina pectoris). It belongs to the class of medicines known as calcium channel blockers.

This tablet reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications. It also improves blood flow to the heart, helping reduce the frequency and severity of angina episodes.

Before starting treatment with Nfd Retard 30 Tablet 10, your doctor will evaluate your overall health, blood pressure, heart function, and any co-existing conditions. Always take this medicine strictly as prescribed, and do not discontinue it abruptly without medical advice.

Nfd Retard 30 Tablet 10 is used for:

Long-term management of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Prevention and treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain due to reduced blood supply to the heart).

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as this may interfere with its prolonged-release effect.
Take the medicine at the same time each day for consistent blood levels.
Follow your doctor’s exact instructions regarding timing and dosage.

Pregnancy

Nfd Retard 30 Tablet 10 may be used during pregnancy for certain hypertensive conditions, but only under strict medical supervision. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor before use.

Breastfeeding

Nifedipine passes into breast milk in small amounts. Use during breastfeeding is not recommended unless clearly advised by your doctor.

Alcohol
