Mycomune S 360 Tablet is used to prevent organ rejection in adults following organ transplantation (such as kidney, liver, or heart transplants). It helps ensure the body accepts the transplanted organ, supporting long-term organ function and graft survival.
It contains mycophenolate sodium, an immunosuppressant medicine that reduces the activity of the immune system. Swallow the tablet whole as prescribed, with or without food. Take it regularly at the same times every day and do not stop taking it suddenly, as stopping increases the risk of transplant rejection.
Special precautions are required while on immunosuppressive therapy. Avoid contact with people who have contagious infections, maintain good personal hygiene, and protect yourself from excessive sun exposure by wearing protective clothing and sunscreen.
Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have digestive problems, active infections, or blood disorders. Regular blood tests are required to monitor blood cell counts. This medicine must not be used during pregnancy due to the high risk of birth defects and pregnancy loss.
