CompositionMX-5 Solution is used to treat hereditary hair loss (androgenic alopecia) in men and women. It contains minoxidil 5%, which works by stimulating hair follicles and prolonging their growth phase, helping to reduce hair shedding and support regrowth on the crown (vertex) of the scalp.
Apply about 1 ml of the solution to the affected area of a dry scalp using the dropper or applicator provided, and gently massage it in. Wash your hands after use, and avoid washing your hair for at least four hours afterwards. Use it regularly as directed, as results are usually seen only after several months of continuous use.
Avoid applying the solution to broken, irritated, or sunburnt skin, and do not use more than the recommended amount, as this does not speed up hair regrowth.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any heart problems or scalp conditions such as psoriasis. Stop using it and consult your doctor if you notice chest pain, a fast heartbeat, or sudden unexplained weight gain, or if scalp irritation becomes severe.
