Monoguard B Cream 10gm

Monoguard B Cream 10gm is used to treat:

• Tinea pedis (athlete's foot)
• Tinea cruris (jock itch)
•  Tinea corporis (ringworm)

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream. 
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and gently massage it into the surrounding skin.

Monoguard B Cream 10gm is applied topically.

Monoguard B Cream 10gm contains the following components:

• Beclomethasone Dipropionate (0.025 % w/w): Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a corticosteroid. It works by entering cells and binding to steroid receptors. This blocks the production of chemicals that cause inflammation, reducing symptoms like swelling and itching in infected skin.
• Sertaconazole (2 % w/w): Sertaconazole is an imidazole antifungal. It disrupts the cell membranes of fungi by blocking ergosterol synthesis, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This leads to leakage of cell contents and, eventually, fungal cell death, effectively stopping the infection from growing and spreading.

• Monoguard B Cream 10gm should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• To help prevent fungal infections, maintain good personal hygiene.
• Regularly clean and dry the affected areas of skin, particularly if they are prone to sweating.
• Avoid tight-fitting clothes that can cause chafing and increase the risk of skin infections.
• Follow a balanced diet to keep your immune system strong and better able to fight off skin infections.
