CompositionMinfin Pro 10% Solution 60ml is a hair growth treatment applied to the scalp, used to manage hair loss in men, particularly male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). It is a combination medicine containing finasteride, which reduces the hormone effect behind pattern hair loss, and minoxidil, which stimulates hair growth, and belongs to a class of medicines called hair growth promoters.
This medicine works by finasteride lowering the level of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that shrinks hair follicles, while minoxidil widens the small blood vessels in the scalp and prolongs the hair growth phase. Together they help slow further hair loss and promote regrowth. Apply to a dry scalp and dry hair using the applicator provided, spread it gently with your fingertips, and wash your hands afterwards. Do not use other hair oils or products on the treated area at the same time.
Hair regrowth is gradual, so use it regularly as directed and be patient, as visible results can take several months. Gentle hair care and avoiding harsh chemical treatments on the scalp may help.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, scalp irritation or any skin condition, or if you are under 18 or over 65. It should not be used by women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or may become pregnant, and you should seek urgent help if you develop chest pain, dizziness, a fast heartbeat or swelling of the face or limbs.
