MICROCEF 100 DT Tablet 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Uricosurics: This class of medicines, such as probenecid and aspirin, used to manage gout, can increase cefpodoxime concentrations in the body.
• Antacids: Commonly used to manage heartburn and indigestion, medicines like aluminium hydroxide or magnesium carbonate may decrease cefpodoxime absorption. It is recommended to take this tablet 2 hours before or after antacids, as guided by your doctor.
• Nephrotoxic medications: Medications that can harm the kidneys, like vancomycin or tacrolimus, can increase the risk of kidney damage when taken with this tablet.
• Live bacterial vaccines: This tablet may reduce the efficacy of vaccines like BCG or typhoid vaccines.

MICROCEF 100 DT Tablet 10 interacts with the following diseases:

• Renal disease: If you have a kidney disease, dose adjustment could be required for this tablet, in consultation with your doctor, as it can affect your kidney function.
• Gastrointestinal disease: Caution is advised if you have a history of gastrointestinal disease, particularly colitis, as cefpodoxime can potentially worsen your condition.
