• Disrupts Fungal Cell Membranes: By blocking lanosterol demethylase, luliconazole disrupts the production of ergosterol. This leads to an accumulation of other sterols that cause disruption in the fungal cell membranes, effectively inhibiting their growth.
• Broad Spectrum Activity: Luliconazole exhibits broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of fungi, including dermatophytes (which cause common skin infections), yeasts, and dimorphic fungi (which can exist in two different forms).
