Lulisol Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), and jock itch (tinea cruris). It provides relief from itching, redness, and burning sensation associated with these infections. By targeting the source of the infection, it helps restore the skin’s natural texture and helps prevent the fungus from spreading to other parts of the body.
This cream contains Luliconazole, an antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane, leading to leakage of cell contents and eventual death of the fungal cells. Its formulation allows it to remain active in the skin, often requiring a shorter duration of treatment compared to some other antifungals.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and about one inch of the surrounding skin once daily, as prescribed by your doctor. Ensure the area is clean and dry before application. Continue using the cream for the full duration prescribed, even if symptoms disappear within a few days, to prevent the infection from returning.
