Lubrigel Ocular Lubricant Eye Gel 5gm is used for providing relief from dryness and irritation of the eyes. It is an ophthalmic lubricant. It mimics natural tears, forming a soothing and transparent layer on the cornea. This helps manage discomfort caused by insufficient tear production, extended screen exposure, or environmental factors like pollution. It is suitable for people experiencing burning, redness, blurred vision, or a foreign body sensation in the eyes. The gel contains Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, a key ingredient that helps stabilise the tear film and provide long-lasting hydration. This eye gel is safe with hard contact lenses and artificial eyes, ensuring all-day comfort. The gel is easy to apply and offers targeted relief for mild to severe dryness. 

• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (2% w/w): This key ingredient is a water-soluble polymer that helps retain eye moisture by forming a lubricating and transparent layer on the cornea. • Potassium Chloride (0.075% w/w): Potassium chloride helps regulate the gel's electrolyte balance. It may also assist in maintaining the health of the corneal and conjunctival cells, promoting overall eye comfort.
   
• Calcium Chloride (0.040% w/w): Calcium chloride provides essential calcium ions that support the structural integrity of the ocular surface. It helps maintain the natural barrier function and reduces discomfort in dry eyes.
   
• Magnesium Chloride (0.030% w/w): Magnesium chloride contributes to magnesium ions that help manage the eye's osmotic balance and cellular health. It helps support the soothing and hydration of the ocular tissues.
   
• Other Ingredients: Sodium Acetate (0.390% w/w), Sodium Citrate (0.170% w/w), Sterile Aqueous Base (q.s.).

• Lie down or tilt your head back.
• Pull the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
• Squeeze a small amount of gel into the pocket.
• Close your eyes for 1–2 minutes to allow the gel to spread.
