Lopig Cream 20 Gm

Lopig Cream 20 Gm is used in adults to lighten areas of darkened skin caused by conditions such as melasma, age spots, freckles, and marks left after skin inflammation.

Uses of Lopig Cream 20 Gm are:

• Hyperpigmentation: Reduces dark spots and evens out patches of darkened skin.

• Melasma: Helps lighten patchy facial pigmentation.

• Sun-induced Discolouration: Lightens areas of skin darkened by sun exposure.

• Post-inflammatory Marks: Helps fade dark marks left after skin inflammation or injury.

Follow these instructions while using Lopig Cream 20 Gm:

• Wash and dry the area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream only to the affected areas of skin.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Use at the times recommended by your doctor (often once or twice daily).
• Do not use more frequently or for a longer duration than prescribed.
• Wash your hands after applying the cream.
• Before first use, apply a small amount to a small area of unbroken skin and check after 24 hours for excessive redness, irritation, or itching.

Lopig Cream 20 Gm is applied topically.

Lopig Cream 20 Gm contains the following active component:

• Hydroquinone (4 %): This works by decreasing the amount of melanin produced by pigment‑forming cells (melanocytes) in the skin. It blocks tyrosinase, an enzyme required for melanin synthesis, which gradually reduces the colour intensity of dark spots. This effect leads to a more even skin tone over time as treated areas lose excess pigment.

• Store Lopig Cream 20 Gm at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the tube or container tightly closed when not in use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date on the package.

• While using Lopig Cream 20 Gm, protect your skin from sunlight by wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher), protective clothing, and wide-brimmed hats. Sun exposure can worsen pigmentation and reduce the effectiveness of the cream.
• Refrain from using abrasive scrubs, chemical peels, or strong exfoliating agents on the treated area, as they may increase irritation and cause uneven lightening.
• Use mild, fragrance-free cleansers and moisturisers to maintain the skin barrier and reduce dryness or peeling. Pat the skin dry rather than rubbing.
