Logidruf S Solution is use in the treatment of Psoriasis, Seborrheic dermatitis

Lotion, ointment, and soap versions of Logidruf S Solution 100 ml are available. Your doctor will prescribe the correct dose for your infection. The Logidruf S Solution 100 ml is solely for topical (skin) usage. Rinse your eyes, nose, and mouth thoroughly with cold water if the medicine gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth. Lotion/Ointment: Before administering Logidruf S Solution 100 ml, gently rinse the afflicted area with saline or water. Using a clean cotton towel, pat the skin dry. With clean and dry hands, apply a generous amount of Logidruf S Solution 100 ml to the afflicted areas of the skin and spread it evenly to make a 1/8-inch thick layer.

Salicylic acid (peeling agent) and coal tar make up Logidruf S Solution 100 ml (keratoplastic). It's used to treat psoriasis and to keep seborrheic dermatitis under control (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Salicylic acid is a keratolytic drug that promotes skin moisture and dissolves the chemical that causes skin cells to cling together, causing keratin (hair protein) clumps to break down, dead skin cells to be removed, and the skin to soften. It also heals acne, dandruff, seborrhea (scaly patches and red skin primarily on the scalp) and eliminates corns and calluses as an anti-inflammatory and topical antibacterial agent. Coal tar is a keratoplastic (thickens the keratin layers) chemical that causes the skin's top layer to shed dead cells and delays the growth of skin cells, reducing scaling and itching.
