Ivercovit 12 Tablet 10 is used to treat parasitic infestations by paralysing and killing the invading organisms. It is effective for conditions like intestinal strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, and scabies. It is also used as part of combination therapy for tropical diseases caused by Wuchereria bancrofti.

• Binding to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels: Ivermectin selectively and strongly binds to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells.

• Increasing cell membrane permeability: The binding action triggers increased permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions.

• Inducing paralysis and death of parasites: As a result of the increased cell membrane permeability, hyperpolarization occurs in the nerve or muscle cell, leading to paralysis and eventual death of the parasite.

• Store Ivercovit 12 Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.

• Ensure the container is tightly closed to prevent exposure to air.
