Igrose Star Cream 15gm

Igrose Star Cream 15gm is used to:

• Treat severely inflamed skin infections where fungal infection is complicated by secondary bacterial infection
• Manage mixed skin infections associated with redness, itching, and irritation
• Help improve healing and control symptoms in infected skin areas
• Support the healing of inflamed, infected skin when prescribed

Follow these instructions while using Igrose Star Cream 15gm:

• Apply the cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Wash and gently dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer over the affected skin and the surrounding area.
• Wash your hands before and after application unless treating the hands.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds.
• Do not cover treated areas with airtight dressings unless advised by your doctor.
• Do not use on the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically prescribed, as potent steroids may cause skin thinning in these areas.

Igrose Star Cream 15gm is applied topically.

Igrose Star Cream 15gm contains the following components:

• Ciprofloxacin (1%): This is a broad-spectrum topical antibiotic that helps control susceptible bacterial skin infections by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, leading to bacterial death. By reducing bacterial load in infected skin, it helps control infection spread and supports the recovery of damaged skin.
• Clobetasol (0.05%): This is a potent topical corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching in severely inflamed skin. It provides rapid relief from irritation and discomfort associated with infected or inflamed skin conditions when used for the prescribed duration.
• Metronidazole (1%): This antibacterial medicine is particularly effective against anaerobic bacteria that may grow in poorly oxygenated or damaged skin areas. It helps reduce infection, inflammation, and unpleasant odour that sometimes accompanies infected skin lesions.
• Terbinafine (1%): This antifungal medicine helps eliminate fungi responsible for common fungal skin infections. By clearing fungal organisms from affected skin, it helps reduce itching, scaling, and recurrence of fungal infection while supporting healthy skin recovery.

• Store below 25°C away from direct heat and sunlight.

• Keep affected skin areas clean and dry to support faster healing: Gently wash infected areas daily and dry them thoroughly, particularly after sweating or bathing, as moisture can encourage bacterial and fungal growth.
• Change clothing and undergarments regularly to reduce reinfection risk: Wearing fresh clothes daily, especially after sweating or exercise, helps reduce microorganism buildup on the skin and lowers the chance of infection recurring.
• Avoid sharing personal items to prevent spreading infection: Towels, clothing, razors, or personal hygiene items may carry infectious organisms, so using clean personal items helps prevent spread to others and reinfection.
