Gmine M 2 Mg Tablet 10

GMINE M2 Tablet is used in adults to control high blood sugar in type 2 diabetes when a single medicine does not provide adequate control.

Uses of GMINE M2 Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Lowers blood sugar by combining increased insulin release with reduced glucose production from the liver.
• Add-On Therapy: Used when blood sugar remains high despite treatment with metformin or glimepiride alone.

• Take Gmine M 2 Mg Tablet 10 exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with a meal (usually breakfast or your first main meal).
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Do not skip meals while taking this medicine, as this may increase the risk of low blood sugar.
• Do not change the dose or stop the medicine on your own. Always talk to your doctor first.

Gmine M 2 Mg Tablet 10 is taken by mouth (orally).

Gmine M 2 Mg Tablet 10 combines two diabetes medicines, Glimepiride 2 mg and Metformin 500 mg:

• Glimepiride (2 mg) helps your pancreas release more insulin.
• Metformin (500 mg) lowers the sugar your liver makes, reduces the sugar absorbed from food, and helps your body use insulin better.

Together, they help control blood sugar levels.

• Store Gmine M 2 Mg Tablet 10 below 25°C, in a dry place away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Eat balanced, regular meals that are low in sugar and high in fibre. Do not skip meals.
• Be active. Regular walking or cycling improves how your body uses insulin.
• Maintain a healthy weight, limit alcohol consumption and monitor your blood sugar as advised by your doctor.
