Gestofert SR 300 Tablet is used in the following conditions:

• Endometrial hyperplasia: Gestofert SR 300 Tablet is used to prevent or treat endometrial hyperplasia in non-hysterectomized postmenopausal women. Endometrial hyperplasia is the abnormal thickening of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) and can be a precursor to more serious conditions. Progesterone helps counteract the effects of estrogen on the uterine lining, reducing the risk of hyperplasia.
• Secondary amenorrhea: This tablet can be used to induce menstruation in cases of secondary amenorrhea by mimicking the natural hormonal changes in the body and regulating the menstrual cycle.

• Swallow Gestofert SR 300 Tablet whole with a glass of water, preferably with a meal.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your dose or take it more often than prescribed.
