Take this tablet with a fatty meal, as this improves absorption of the medicine, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue for the full course, which can take several weeks to months depending on the site of infection.
Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, porphyria, or lupus, as griseofulvin needs caution in these conditions. This medicine increases sensitivity to sunlight, so use sun protection, and it is not suitable during pregnancy.
