Fluticavac S 250 Inhaler 120mdi is used for the following:

• Management of asthma symptoms

• Prevention of asthma attacks

• Control of persistent asthma

• Long-term asthma maintenance therapy

• Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Control of airflow obstruction in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Management of chronic bronchitis

• Treatment of emphysema

• Reduction of airway inflammation

• Improvement of lung function

Follow these instructions while using Fluticavac S 250 Inhaler 120mdi:

• Shake the inhaler well before each use.

• Remove the mouthpiece cover and check for foreign objects.

• Breathe out fully before placing the mouthpiece in your mouth.

• Seal your lips around the mouthpiece and press the canister down.

• Breathe in slowly and deeply as you press down.

• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds after inhaling.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent thrush.

• Clean the plastic casing of your inhaler once a week.

Fluticavac S 250 Inhaler 120mdi is administered via oral inhalation.

Fluticavac S 250 Inhaler 120mdi contains two active ingredients:

• Salmeterol (25 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA), salmeterol binds to specific receptors called beta2-receptors in the lung tissues. This binding causes the muscles surrounding the airways to relax, widening the breathing passages and making breathing easier for up to 12 hours.

• Fluticasone propionate (250 mcg): This is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation in the airways of the lungs. It blocks the release of inflammatory substances in the lungs, decreasing swelling and irritation in the breathing passages.

• Store at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C) in a dry place.

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Do not freeze the inhaler.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date and do not use the inhaler after this date.

• Stay away from smoke, strong perfumes, and air pollution, as these can trigger asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms and reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.

• Drinking plenty of water helps keep mucus in your airways thinner, making it easier to breathe and supporting your respiratory health while using your inhaler.
