Fertyl Tablet 10

Fertyl Tablet is used to treat infertility linked to ovulation problems.

Uses of Fertyl Tablet are:

• Female Infertility: Treats infertility caused by ovulation problems.
• Ovulation Problems: Helps trigger the release of an egg.
• PCOS: Helps women with PCOS to conceive.

Here are some guidelines on how to take Fertyl Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take the tablet with or without food.

• Always take the tablet at the same time each day.

• Do not exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Fertyl Tablet is taken orally.

Fertyl Tablet contains clomifene (50 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Binding to Oestrogen Receptors: Clomifene binds to oestrogen receptors in an area of your brain called the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus is responsible for controlling production of reproductive hormones in your body.

• Triggering Release of Gonadotropins: Once clomifene has bound to these receptors, it triggers the release of certain hormones called gonadotropins. These include follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH).

• Stimulating Ovarian Follicle Growth: The increased levels of FSH and LH in turn stimulate the growth and development of ovarian follicles. These are sacs in your ovaries that contain eggs.

• Promoting Ovulation: As these follicles develop, ovulation is stimulated. This is the process where an egg is released from the ovary, making it available for fertilisation by sperm.

• Store Fertyl Tablet in a cool place, maintaining a room temperature ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep it shielded from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• The medicine should be kept in a well-closed, light-resistant container.

• Always ensure that it is out of the reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before using the medicine.

• If you're managing infertility with Fertyl Tablet, consider incorporating more zinc-rich foods such as beans, nuts and whole grains in your diet. Zinc is known to boost fertility by promoting ovulation.

• Regular physical activity can help balance hormones and manage conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), which Fertyl Tablet often helps manage. So, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise daily.
