Farostead Tablet 3 is used for the following:

• Managing severe respiratory tract infections, both upper and lower.

• Controlling urinary tract infections (UTIs).

• Dealing with skin and soft tissue infections.

• Managing gynaecological infections.

Follow these instructions while taking Farostead Tablet 3:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day, either with or without food.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first, even if symptoms improve after a few doses.

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: Faropenem acts by disrupting the formation of the bacterial cell wall, an essential outer layer that protects bacteria and maintains their shape.

• Kills Bacteria: By inhibiting cell wall synthesis, faropenem causes bacterial cells to rupture and die, effectively halting the progression of the infection.

• Store Farostead Tablet 3 at room temperature.

• Keep the medicine in a tightly closed container.

• Avoid exposure to moisture and direct sunlight.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Use the tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.
