CompositionErigyn 250 Mg Tablet 10 is used to treat bacterial infections, particularly of the respiratory system, skin and soft tissues. It is also used for infections of the lungs, airways, throat and ears, and certain intestinal and reproductive tract infections. It does not work against viral infections such as colds or flu.
It contains erythromycin, an antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria making the proteins they need, which halts their growth.
Take the tablet exactly as instructed by your doctor, and continue for the full duration prescribed.
Tell your doctor about all pre-existing conditions and ongoing medicines before starting. Report severe loose motions, yellowing of the eyes, or an irregular heartbeat at once, as these need prompt attention.
