Envas Injection is used to manage high blood pressure and heart failure, and is commonly given after a heart attack to help control the heart's workload. It contains enalaprilat, which belongs to a class of medicines called ACE inhibitors.

This injection is given directly into a vein by a doctor or nurse in a hospital setting, so you do not need to take it yourself. It is important to continue treatment as advised, even if you feel well, as your condition could worsen if treatment is stopped.

While being treated with this medicine, your care team may recommend a low-salt diet, regular gentle activity as advised, and limiting alcohol intake to help support blood pressure control.

Tell your doctor before treatment if you have kidney problems, a history of allergic swelling (angioedema), or are taking other blood pressure medicines. Tell your care team promptly if you notice swelling of the face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy.
