Entehep 1 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection

• Reducing hepatitis B viral levels in the body

• Improving liver function in HBV patients

• Managing active viral replication in hepatitis B

• Decreasing liver damage caused by hepatitis B

• Treating lamivudine-resistant chronic hepatitis B

• Managing hepatitis B with elevated liver enzymes

• Treatment of histologically active hepatitis B disease

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take it at least 2 hours before or after a meal.

• Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.

• Take this medicine regularly at the same time each day.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• If you have kidney problems, consult your doctor for specific advice.

Entehep 1 MG Tablet 10 contains entecavir (1 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• HBV DNA polymerase inhibition: Entecavir blocks an enzyme called HBV DNA polymerase, which is crucial for the hepatitis B virus to multiply in liver cells.

• Competitive substrate action: It competes with a natural substance called deoxyguanosine triphosphate that the virus needs for replication.

• DNA chain termination: When entecavir becomes incorporated into the viral DNA, it prevents the virus from completing its DNA chain, effectively stopping viral multiplication.

• Viral load reduction: By preventing the virus from replicating, entecavir helps lower the amount of hepatitis B virus in your body, which can improve liver health over time.

• Store Entehep 1 MG Tablet 10 in a tightly closed container at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.
