Follow these instructions while taking Emduo 150/30 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.

Emduo 150/30 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Emduo 150/30 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Lamivudine (150 mg): This component works by inhibiting HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, an enzyme crucial for viral replication. It competes with natural substances and incorporates into viral DNA, causing chain termination and preventing the virus from multiplying.

• Stavudine (30 mg): Like lamivudine, stavudine also inhibits HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. It interferes with the reverse transcription process where viral RNA is converted into DNA, which is an essential step for HIV replication. By blocking this process, stavudine helps to reduce the amount of HIV in your body.
