CompositionDutchcom 100 MG Tablet 5 is a fertility medication used to help women who are having difficulty conceiving because they do not ovulate (release an egg) regularly. It is the gold-standard treatment for infertility related to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). By stimulating the ovaries to produce healthy eggs, it significantly increases the chances of a successful pregnancy.
This medication contains Clomiphene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It works by blocking estrogen receptors in the brain, which tricks the body into thinking estrogen levels are low. The brain responds by releasing more natural hormones (FSH and LH) that tell the ovaries to grow and release one or more eggs during the menstrual cycle.
This tablet is taken for a short period (usually 5 days) at the beginning of the menstrual cycle. Important: This medication increases the chance of multiple births (twins or more). Consult your doctor immediately if you experience severe pelvic pain or bloating, as these can be signs of "Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome" (OHSS).
