Drep New Ear Drops are used to treat bacterial and fungal ear infections and reduce inflammation in the ear. They relieve pain, itching, and discharge associated with infected ear conditions.
It is a combination medicine containing a corticosteroid, an antifungal, a local anaesthetic, and an antibiotic. These work together to fight infection, reduce swelling, and numb the pain. Instill the drops into the affected ear as prescribed by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily. Lie down on your side during application and keep the medicine in your ear for a few minutes.
Keep the ear dry while using this medicine. Avoid inserting objects into the ear and dry it gently after bathing. If you have a perforation of the eardrum, inform your doctor before using this medicine.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any allergies, a history of eardrum damage, or are using other ear medicines. If you experience severe pain, hearing loss, or the condition worsens after a few days of treatment, contact your doctor immediately.
