Dessin-0.1 Tablet is used for:

• Managing Central Diabetes Insipidus, a condition resulting in excessive urine production due to vasopressin deficiency
• Controlling Bedwetting (Nocturnal Enuresis) in children over 5 years old when other treatments have been unsuccessful

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food.
• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, there is also a melt formulation that dissolves under the tongue.
• Always follow your doctor's advice regarding the timing and frequency of taking this medicine.

Dessin-0.1 Tablet is taken orally.

Dessin-0.1 Tablet contains desmopressin (0.1 mg). Here's how it works:

• Vasopressin Receptor Activation: Desmopressin activates vasopressin receptors in the kidney tubules.
• Increased Water Permeability: Once these receptors are activated, water permeability in the kidney tubules increases.
• Boosted Water Reabsorption: The increased water permeability promotes water reabsorption from urine back into the bloodstream.
• Decreased Urine Volume: As a result of increased water reabsorption, there is a decrease in urine volume.
• Enhanced Urine Concentration: Alongside reducing urine volume, desmopressin also aids in increasing the concentration of urine.

• Store your Dessin-0.1 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
• Shield it from light and moisture, so keep the container tightly closed.
• Remember to keep the medicine out of reach of children.
• Make sure you use the tablet before its expiry date.

• If you are managing Central Diabetes Insipidus (CDI), avoid excessive water intake. This condition causes your body to produce large amounts of urine, and drinking too much water can worsen this symptom.
• For those using this tablet to manage bedwetting, reduce fluid intake before bedtime. This can help decrease nighttime urine production.
