It helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and skin irritation.
It contains clobetasol (a steroid to reduce inflammation and itching), ketoconazole and clioquinol (antifungals to eliminate fungal growth), and gentamicin (an antibiotic to clear bacterial infection). Apply a thin layer only to the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application.
Keep the affected skin clean and dry. Avoid covering the treated area with airtight bandages unless explicitly instructed by your doctor.
Dermiford-K5 Cream is for external use only. Do not apply on open wounds, burns, or sensitive areas like the eyes or mouth. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if skin irritation, burning, or allergic skin rash develops. Do not use a steroid-containing combination for uncomplicated ringworm or another fungal infection unless specifically directed, because the steroid can mask or worsen infection.
