Darinec 7.5 Er Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of overactive bladder symptoms
• Management of urinary urgency
• Reduction of urinary frequency
• Control of urge incontinence
• Improvement of bladder control
• Enhancement of bladder capacity
• Delaying initial urge to urinate
• Prevention of involuntary bladder contractions

Follow these instructions while taking Darinec 7.5 Er Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet as this affects the extended-release properties.
• Take this medicine daily at approximately the same time each day.

Darinec 7.5 Er Tablet 10 contains Darifenacin (7.5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Muscarinic Receptor Antagonism: Darifenacin acts as a competitive muscarinic receptor antagonist, primarily blocking the M3 subtype receptors in the bladder wall.
• Acetylcholine Blocking: It prevents acetylcholine (a natural chemical messenger in your body) from stimulating the muscarinic receptors that cause bladder contractions.
• Reduced Bladder Contractions: By blocking these receptors, darifenacin decreases involuntary contractions of the bladder muscle, giving you better control over urination.
• Increased Bladder Capacity: The medicine helps your bladder hold more urine comfortably, reducing the frequency of bathroom visits.
• Delayed Urination Urge: It postpones the initial sensation of needing to urinate, providing more time to reach a toilet.

• Store Darinec 7.5 Er Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.
• Keep the tablets in their original container, protect from light and moisture.
• Store out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce consumption of caffeinated drinks (tea, coffee, cola) and alcohol as these can irritate your bladder and worsen overactive bladder symptoms.
• Try to urinate at regular intervals (every 2-4 hours) rather than waiting until you feel a sudden urge, which helps train your bladder to hold urine better.
