Dapica S 5/50 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of type 2 diabetes in adults

• Enhancing the action of insulin in adults with type 2 diabetes

• Helping to lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes

• Reducing the release of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood sugar levels, in adults with type 2 diabetes

• Greater control of blood sugar levels when used as part of a comprehensive diabetes treatment plan

• Swallow one tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food as per your comfort.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): Classified as a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP4) inhibitor, sitagliptin slows down the inactivation of incretin hormones that are released after meals.
