Cytil D Tablet 10 is a pain-relieving medicine used to treat pain, swelling and inflammation from conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as muscle pain, backache, toothache and pain after surgery. It is a combination medicine containing diclofenac, a pain reliever, trypsin and bromelain, enzymes that help reduce swelling, and rutoside, a plant-derived compound that supports blood vessels, and belongs to a class of medicines called NSAID and enzyme combinations.
This medicine works by diclofenac blocking the chemicals that cause pain and inflammation, while trypsin and bromelain help break down proteins at the site of injury to reduce swelling. It is also used for tendonitis, bursitis and injuries. Take it with food, as prescribed by your doctor, and swallow it whole.
Resting the affected area and gentle movement as your doctor advises can support recovery alongside this tablet.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, asthma, liver, kidney or heart problems, high blood pressure, or if you are pregnant, especially in the last three months. Like other NSAIDs, diclofenac can increase the risk of stomach bleeding, kidney problems and heart or blood pressure problems, so use it for the shortest time your doctor advises. Get urgent help for black stools, severe stomach pain or chest pain.
