Cyendiv 100 Mg Capsule 10

CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 is used to slow the progression of IPF, interstitial lung diseases and systemic sclerosis-associated lung disease, and to treat advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Uses ofCYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 are:

• Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Helps slow the progression of IPF.
• Interstitial Lung Disease: Used in chronic fibrosing and systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung diseases.
• Lung Cancer: Used in advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Follow these instructions while taking CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10:

• Take this medicine with food to improve absorption.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or open the capsule.

• Take at the same times each day, approximately 12 hours apart.

• If you accidentally touch the capsule contents, wash your hands immediately.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for it to be effective.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 is taken orally.

CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 contains Nintedanib (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Tyrosine kinase inhibition: Nintedanib blocks multiple receptor tyrosine kinases, which are enzymes involved in the processes that cause fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs.

• Anti-fibrotic action: By inhibiting these key enzymes, nintedanib helps slow down the progression of lung fibrosis, reducing the formation of scar tissue in the lungs.

• Anti-cancer effect: In non-small cell lung cancer, nintedanib works by blocking enzymes that support tumour growth, helping to slow down the progression of cancer.

• Anti-inflammatory activity: The medicine reduces inflammation in the lungs, which contributes to its beneficial effects in various interstitial lung diseases.

• Keep CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 in its original packaging at room temperature (below 25°C).

• Protect the medicine from excessive heat and moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use CYENDIV 100 MG CAPSULE 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• If you have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis or other lung conditions, try to eat smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day to reduce breathlessness that can occur after larger meals.

• Consider joining a pulmonary rehabilitation programme that includes breathing exercises, which can help improve your lung function and make daily activities easier.
