Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10

Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

• Managing chronic fibrosing interstitial lung diseases

• Controlling systemic sclerosis-associated lung disease

• Slowing progression of lung fibrosis

• Treating advanced non-small cell lung cancer

• Supporting therapy after first-line chemotherapy failure

• Reducing formation of lung scar tissue

• Addressing adenocarcinoma histology lung cancers

Follow these instructions while taking Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10:

• Take this medicine with food to improve absorption.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or open the capsule.

• Take at the same times each day, approximately 12 hours apart.

• If you accidentally touch the capsule contents, wash your hands immediately.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for it to be effective.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10 contains Nintedanib (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Tyrosine kinase inhibition: Nintedanib blocks multiple receptor tyrosine kinases, which are enzymes involved in the processes that cause fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs.

• Anti-fibrotic action: By inhibiting these key enzymes, nintedanib helps slow down the progression of lung fibrosis, reducing the formation of scar tissue in the lungs.

• Anti-cancer effect: In non-small cell lung cancer, nintedanib works by blocking enzymes that support tumour growth, helping to slow down the progression of cancer.

• Anti-inflammatory activity: The medicine reduces inflammation in the lungs, which contributes to its beneficial effects in various interstitial lung diseases.

• Keep Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10 in its original packaging at room temperature (below 25°C).

• Protect the medicine from excessive heat and moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use Cyendiv 100 MG Capsule 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• If you have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis or other lung conditions, try to eat smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day to reduce breathlessness that can occur after larger meals.

• Consider joining a pulmonary rehabilitation programme that includes breathing exercises, which can help improve your lung function and make daily activities easier.
