Cozymin+ Tablet is used for the following:

The Cozymin+ Tablet contains three active ingredients which work together to provide relief from cold and flu symptoms:

• Cetirizine (5 mg): This is an antihistamine which works by selectively blocking peripheral H1 receptors in your body. Blocking these receptors reduces inflammation and helps manage allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, itching and watery eyes.

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (500 mg): This ingredient falls under the class of analgesics or pain relievers. It works primarily in the central nervous system by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins (compounds that cause pain) and lowering the body's temperature set point in the brain. This brings about relief from pain and reduces fever.

• Phenylephrine (5 mg): This component is a nasal decongestant that works by acting as an agonist at α1-adrenergic receptors. This action constricts blood vessels, reducing inflammation and swelling of nasal mucosa, thereby reducing nasal airway resistance and relieving congestion. It also has mild pain-relieving effects.

• Keep your Cozymin+ Tablet in a dry place, away from light and moisture.

• Maintain an ideal storage temperature of not more than 30°C.

• Ensure the medicine is stored where children cannot reach it.
