CompositionCozymin Forte Syrup 60 ml is used to relieve cold, flu and upper-respiratory allergy symptoms in children aged 6 years and older when prescribed. It is a combination medicine containing chlorpheniramine, paracetamol and phenylephrine, which are an antihistamine, pain and fever reliever, and decongestant.
This medicine may relieve fever, headache, body aches, a runny or blocked nose, sneezing, itching and watery eyes. Shake the bottle and measure your child's dose carefully; give it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your child's doctor.
Before starting, tell your child's doctor if your child has liver, kidney or heart problems, high blood pressure, glaucoma or difficulty passing urine, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products your child uses. Do not give another paracetamol-containing medicine unless the doctor approves it. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop giving the medicine unless the doctor advises you to do so.
