Conipred 40 Mg Injection 1 is a corticosteroid used to treat a wide range of conditions linked to inflammation and an overactive immune system, including arthritis, severe allergic reactions, certain blood, cancer and immune conditions, brain swelling, and multiple sclerosis flare-ups.
It contains methylprednisolone. It works by strongly reducing inflammation and calming the immune system.
It is given by injection by a doctor or nurse, who sets the dose. The dose may need to be reduced gradually rather than stopped suddenly.
Tell your doctor about any infection, diabetes, high blood pressure or stomach ulcers before use, as steroids can lower resistance to infection and raise blood pressure and blood sugar. Report signs of infection, mood changes or muscle weakness.
