Clobate GM Cream is used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions, such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and lichen planus. This combination medication helps alleviate symptoms such as redness, itching, and swelling by reducing inflammation and preventing further irritation of the skin.

Here are some simple steps for applying Clobate GM Cream:

• Before application, ensure that the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Wash the affected area with mild soap and water, then pat dry with a clean towel.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of cream to the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.

• Rub in gently until fully absorbed.

• Remember to wash your hands after applying the cream unless your hands are being treated.

Clobate GM Cream is composed of three active ingredients:

• Clobetasol (0.05%): This potent topical corticosteroid reduces inflammation, redness, itching and swelling associated with various skin conditions. It works by binding to receptors inside cells and regulating gene transcription which suppresses pro-inflammatory substances.

• Gentamicin (0.1%): A broad-spectrum antibiotic, gentamicin helps tackle bacterial infections that could potentially complicate inflammatory skin conditions. It achieves this by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

• Miconazole (2%): As an antifungal agent, miconazole helps manage fungal skin infections that might occur alongside inflammatory conditions. It disrupts the structure of the fungal cell membrane leading to increased permeability and cell death.

• Store Clobate GM Cream in a tightly closed container at a temperature below 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct heat and light.

• Remember to utilise the cream within 3 months after opening the tube.
