Chymera Tablet 10

CHYMERA TABLET 10 is used to relieve pain, stiffness and inflammation in chronic joint disorders as well as short-term musculoskeletal injuries in adults, helping to improve movement and daily comfort.

Uses of CHYMERA TABLET 10 are:

• Chronic Joint Disorders: Eases pain and stiffness in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Muscle and Ligament Injuries: Relieves pain from strains, sprains and tendinitis.
• Back Pain: Helps reduce discomfort and stiffness associated with low back pain.
• Post-procedure Pain: Supports recovery from pain and swelling after surgery, dental procedures or ENT-related inflammation.

Follow these instructions while taking CHYMERA TABLET 10:

• Swallow whole tablet with water.
• Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Do not take more than the dosage recommended by your doctor.
• Consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

CHYMERA TABLET 10 is taken orally.

CHYMERA TABLET 10 has three active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, aceclofenac works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes COX-1 and COX-2, responsible for producing pro-inflammatory prostaglandins that cause inflammation and pain. By blocking these, aceclofenac provides analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects.
• Paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 mg): This acts as an analgesic and antipyretic by inhibiting COX enzymes in the brain and spinal cord, and reduces prostaglandin synthesis, helping manage pain and regulate body temperature.
• Trypsin-chymotrypsin (150000 AU): These proteolytic enzymes break down proteins into smaller peptides and reduce inflammation by promoting the absorption of aceclofenac and paracetamol, removing inflammatory exudates and fibrin deposits, reducing oedema by increasing permeability of blood vessels, and inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators like bradykinin.

Together, these make the tablet an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-oedema formulation useful for managing several conditions.

• Store CHYMERA TABLET 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature, around 25°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
