Chromostat 2Ml Inj contains'mefenamic acid,' which acts by suppressing the effect of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes in your body, which produce another chemical called 'prostaglandins' (PG). Pain and swelling are caused by prostaglandins, which are created at damage sites. Less PGs are created when COX enzymes are blocked, resulting in mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the wounded or damaged site.
