Brosal T 2/100 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management and prevention of bronchial asthma

• Improvement in quality of life in asthmatic patients

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• The tablet can be taken with or without food, but preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor first.
• If you experience sudden shortness of breath, use a fast-acting rescue inhaler as directed by your doctor.

Brosal T 2/100 MG Tablet 10 comprises two active ingredients:

• Salbutamol (2 mg): This ingredient is a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist which focuses on relaxing the muscles in your airways. By doing so, it allows for a higher concentration of cyclic AMP within cells, leading to proteins being activated that help relax the bronchial smooth muscle, reduce inflammation and lower capillary permeability. The result is a wider airway, making breathing easier.
• Theophylline (100 mg): Operating as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, this component works to prevent the breakdown of cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP within cells. With an increased concentration of these compounds, there is further relaxation of the airway smooth muscle via protein activation. Theophylline also improves diaphragmatic contractility and respiratory drive while enhancing mucociliary clearance, contributing to easier breathing.
