CompositionBRICAREX LS+ Syrup is used to relieve a productive (chesty) cough with thick, sticky phlegm in conditions such as bronchitis and other airway diseases. It combines a mucolytic with a bronchodilator, and helps loosen and clear mucus and open up the airways. It also contains ambroxol, guaifenesin and levosalbutamol.
The mucolytic component thins and loosens thick mucus so it can be coughed up more easily, while the bronchodilator relaxes the airway muscles to ease breathing, together relieving chesty cough and congestion.
Take this syrup using the measuring cup provided, at the dose and frequency your doctor prescribes, with or without food.
Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure or a seizure disorder, as the bronchodilator component needs caution in these conditions. If your cough persists for more than a week or is accompanied by high fever, seek medical advice.
